Quetschprofi
The Quetschprofi - an innovative chamber bowl screw-feeder separator – specially developed by us for biogas plants with a high percentage of re-growth material.
It is distinguished especially by its infinitely adjustable pneumatic slide which can easily deal with even the most varied of DS-contents.
The separator is filled by means of a pump and is optimised using a reservoir tank. In combination with the fully-automatic control, the reservoir tank ensures that only the exact amount of substrate necessary is pumped to the separator. This saves energy and ensures a continuous 100% load factor in the separator.
In the Quetschprofi the substrate is pressed into the separator through a fine-meshed sieve drum by means of a screw press. The fluid content is reduced in volume by 10 – 15% and is drained off to the final disposal tank. The solid content drops into a storage area beneath the separator. The residual moisture of the solid content (20 – 30% DS) can be infinitely adjusted by means of a pressure regulator.
